THE FOUNDATIONAL RECORD

The Origin of Wayhood

A category, not simply a new name for a product.

Wayhood was introduced and formally defined by TownLIT in its foundational specification dated October 2026.

October 2026

01

The question behind the category

What if a digital environment were designed not merely to connect people, distribute content, or aggregate services, but to enable people, communities, and institutions to build meaningful life together?

02

A universal definition

Wayhood describes a universal digital category with five foundational dimensions and a seven-part qualification test. The category does not require a particular religious identity.

03

TownLIT's implementation

TownLIT is being developed as one implementation of Wayhood. Its Christian foundation and Basileia Pattern shape the TownLIT experience, not the universal category itself.

04

The foundational record

Wayhood Category Specification, Version 1.0 — Foundational Release, is dated October 2026 and identifies TownLIT as the introducer and definer of the category. The document date is not necessarily its first public publication date.

The document date and the first verifiable public publication date are distinct.
